Join the Kollaboration Internship Program!

The 2011 Internship Program includes the following:

  • Live Show Production
  • Marketing/Promotions
  • Community-oriented projects and organizing
  • Other entertainment-related projects.

The major focus will be placed on the planning and production of the upcoming 5th Annual Kollaboration Acoustic show on Friday, June 17th at the Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood, CA. We will also be working with different companies to help with marketing and event planning.

Kollaboration is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting positive and accurate perceptions of Asians and Pacific Islanders in the media.

About the Internship:
The Kollaboration Internship Program is offered in our Downtown Los Angeles, CA office. Interns will play an essential role, performing a variety of responsibilities such as (but not limited to) helping put together the 5th Annual Kollaboration Acoustic show:

  • marketing
  • research
  • outreach
  • on-stage setups
  • backstage set-ups
  • acting as community/artist liaisons.

There will be opportunities to participate in valuable grassroots organizing activities, working directly with Kollaboration Mentors from various industries, networking with other leaders at a nationwide-level, and to meet key API community and industry leaders.

Interns are expected to commit to a minimum of 8 hours per week (it may include some nights and weekends).

Qualifications/ Application Process:
We strongly encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply. We believe in the success of our organization to be in the diversity of our audiences, performers, interns, volunteers, and staff. The minimum age requirement for our internship program is 18. Due to safety and convenience, we prefer to have applicants reside in the Los Angeles area and have access to their own transportation.

Email your resume and cover letter to the email listed below. All applications will be reviewed and interns will be accepted based on merit/availability.
