Four young men from Diamond Bar, CA known as Seriously got together for Kollaboration 2006 in Los Angeles and surprised everyone by winning the Grand Prize. Taken under the wing of artist development company Chaos Theory Music and acclaimed composer and producer Woody Pak, Seriously released its self-titled debut EP “Seriously”in June 2007 and has been steadily performing and gaining new fans throughout Southern California and around the country. The four rambunctious members of Seriously - Chris Pham, lead singer, Nathan Park, the bassist, Joshua Baek, lead guitarist, and Philip Park, on drums - grew up listening to Celine Dion, Asian pop songs, American rock, r&b, and britpop-influenced bands like Radiohead and Coldplay. Such eclectic influences have tinged and influenced their own music to great effect. Since their first release in 2007, the band has greatly expanded its musical palette in exciting ways by incorporating funky grooves, synthesizers, drum machines, assorted electronics, laptops, and other gadgetry to create an edgy rock sound interlaced with danceable grooves and catchy hooks.
Recently, Seriously has been hard at work producing new music and launching a monthly singles release campaign called On Your Mark which will run till August 2010 and will culminate in a full length album.
