Starting her violin studies at age nine, Ramos quickly developed a fond love for both her instrument and the music that emanated from it. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, it’s not surprising that a plethora of musical influences inspire her playing. From Mozart to mariachi and Beethoven to the Beastie Boys, her eclectic tastes and constant desire to push the performance envelope has helped shape her style. Her biggest influence, however, is the deep tie she has with her Filipino culture.
